On The Table Macon: Building Public Will For Arts and Culture

Everyone talks about the need to cultivate greater appreciation and participation in the arts, including emphasizing the importance of arts in schools. But what comes next to help that start to happen?

ArtsMidwest is leading a long term effort to build public will for arts and culture. Think of how there was gradual, but persistence pressure to restrict public smoking –but in this case in the direction of doing something rather than ceasing.

Joe Patti, Director of Grand Opera House, will give a short (~5 min) introduction to the concept, research and messaging –then the direction of conversation is up to you!
